Such marital problems can cause depression, anxiety, and other such mental health diseases as well.

Here at the Psychiatrists of Denver, we have a team of trained marriage counselors who are experts in helping save marriages as well as understanding what may be causing emotional distress. Our sessions are very personalized, and we focus on you, as well as how we can best move forward. Our sessions can range from 1-3 sessions and can last up to 12 to 24 sessions if you would like a more thoroughly understanding of how to have a fruitful and happy marriage.
The techniques that our counselors utilize are held in a confidential space to allow for both parties to express themselves freely. Furthermore, our counselors are trained to in many therapeutic techniques, including mirroring, or to re-stating what is being discussed in the session to allow for the individuals who are involved to hear the information from an outside perspective. Further, our counselors teach the individuals in the session how to be empowered and how to act confidently and make good decisions moving forward.
Our marriage counselors are also trained to identify what may be causing such negative interactions in the marriage, and to discuss how one's upbringing and childhood may impact what kind of partner an individual is looking for.
